What sparked your interest in wrestling?
Well I used to watch it religiously when I was like ten with my uncle( who introduced it to me), first show I watch was Sting and Flair! was hooked then!
How did you break into wrestling?
Well after training with Pierre Martel (aka Frenchy Martin) I had a break to work a show in Zephyrhills , Fl call N.S.W (New School Wrestling)!
Who did you look up to as a kid?
Razor Ramon( Scott Hall) I thought he was very entertaining and charismatic! His ladder match with Shawn Michaels was a highlight for me!
What was your first match, give us a little detail on it.
Well I was tagging with George Martel at this time against this group called the Night Stalkers! we were all friends and I wasn’t sure I would be booked till they needed a tag match! so I was in a tanktop and khaki’s and I went out and had a all out brawl with these guys, which was not very good, but the crowd and fans liked it and that reaction kept me on the roster!
What is your greatest accomplishment in wrestling?
Well I had a few, but the biggest one was my match with D’Lo brown at TAP (Tampa All Pro) I was a big fan of his when he was in WWE, so when I got a opportunity to wrestle him I was livid! so I would say that was my greatest moment in my career!
Whats your favorite/least favorite promotion to work for?
My all time favorite promotion was ACW ( America Combat Wrestling) I spent almost three years on a every Tuesday basis and special once a months shows in New port Richey, Daytona, and Spring hill Florida, it was my second chance in this sport I got to wrestle some of the best in the state there, and most memorable to me is winning the title from the Top Heavyweight in the state, Bruce Santee, he really push me and made me want to get better in this sport! Worst Promotion would be a Place called F.L.O.W ( Future Legends of Wrestling) it was just wrong in all ways, the shows were horribly booked and promoted, and the crowd was small, and the promoters were just selfish and unprofessional! not a good place to work!
What are your current hates about the wrestling business?
What I hate most is the lack of Respect and dues earned, it’s becoming where if you don’t know this guy or kinda suck up to this promoter, those who really work hard and do have talent don’t get a chance cause of those other wrestlers that just seem to just sneak there way to bigger spots and shows, what is lacking is trust, and worth, if someone can be trusting and a wrestler is well worth it, why can’t that wrestler be used to the best of there ability! it’s the small things that make me wonder ” why do I do this”! but I push on…
What are you current loves of the wrestling business?
The Fans! I love the reaction, the thrill, it’s nothing better then the feeling of a few hundred fans just chanting your name or chanting for you to get up from getting knocked down, they make it worth it, the overall thrill and eagerness to do great matches is what keeps me loving this profession.
What are you goals in the business?
Well the goals stay the same, I want to keep working out, in the ring and in the gym and push to get a spot nation wide in the eyes of other top promotions like ROH, TNA, and if it was possible WWE.
Life on the road has to be ridiculous sometimes, give us one moment that you’ll never forget.
God, there is alot of great road trips, one I would say I was riding with some guys to a show to Miami, and one of the wrestlers I know (not saying names) but he has a strong tough voice and was just talking away, then he got a phone call from his mother and completely turned from this tough guy to this British sounding kid saying “Mami” and asking for cookies, so we kinda ragged on him for like three hours about that, and that night after the show he didn’t ride back home with us! I think we hurt his feelings, it was hilarious.

“Backseat Booker”: The World Wrestling Entertainment 2008 Draft

Welcome to the first edition of “Backseat Booker” my new column, where I will focus on the pro wrestling’s booking/story lines and will score, not with 5 stars like most columns, but with Points of interest which will be done on a 1-10 scale.
You can have a 5 star match and it still not interesting. Example last week Umaga fought Cena in a street fight… for all I know it could have been the best match ever. But my three year old son “Biggest Umaga Fan I Know” chose to read a Power Rangers book instead of his favorite wrestlers match. Why??? His quote; not mine “It’s boring you know Cena is going to win.”
So there has to be a flaw in WWE booking when a three year old knows the out come. Till this day I still have no idea why Cena won that match. But lets stay on track here…
The POI scale is broking down like this 1 it makes you angry and you ask yourself why do I watch this crap, 5 meaning you’re watching it but that’s about it and a perfect score of 10 is when you say this is why I watch pro wrestling with pride.
WWE Champion Triple H def. Mark Henry
POI: 8
I always thought Mark Henry was one of the worst booked wrestlers in WWE history. I could see him with Cryme Tyme on Smackdown and they book him the same way Elite XC books Kimbo Slice. I know some MMA fan will be mad that I said booking about Elite XC but let’s be honest they are booking story lines better than WWE right now.
It was a bit slow but Triple H did a great job selling; I marked out for the Vader Bomb, I thought JR and Mick Foley worked great together. If I was booking this I would have had Mark Henry go over since it was non-title. Think about it Cena loses to Umaga last week, Henry gets the best of HHH and Triple H and Cena battle at the PPV. It doesn’t matter who wins at the PPV (CENA???) they both have feuds going out of the PPV and it builds two guys who look ridicules always loosing.
The one down fall of this match was Triple H being dominated the whole match and him pulling it out at the end. WWE pulls this card out way too much anyone remember the worst match of this years Mania Batista vs. Umaga?
Rey Mysterio was drafted to Raw from SmackDown.

Great to see Rey back just hated to see him go to Raw. If I was in charge would have sent him to ECW and made ECW the place for cruiserweights or wrestlers that could wrestle but that’s just me. Or would have kept him on Smackdown so that there would be star power on the new channel with there demographics. I’m very interested and scared to see who they feud him with on RAW. The one thing that I hate more than anything is the random draft lottery pick. What is the point of The GM’s besides pissing me off.
McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania

“You can’t pay me enough to watch this crap” was my first response but as the contest went on I became a dreamer. What if I did win; I mean I deserve it, right??? I could pay off my house and bills; give Kocosports the money it desperately needs. So I fell for it hook line and sinker until David Kiue posted this http://www.kocosports.com/absolutenm/anmviewer.asp?a=21918 than I was sad and felt bad for watching all these years and like a sucker. Way to go Vince! Man what I could have done with that money.
Kelly Kelly is crazy hot. She use to be my waitress at Wing House… True Story. Triple H/ Rey / Cena Backstage Segment

I really liked Triple H showing Rey respect and welcoming him to Raw. And then they sent in the clowns. How many times can Cena and Triple H have the same promo? Maybe it’s me Hating on Cena or my man crush on Flair but Cena using Flair’s line pissed me off.
Finlay & Hornswoggle def. Santino Marella & Carlito

To steal a line from NBC Santino Marella is “Comedy done right” and Hornswoggle is every thing that is wrong in pro wrestling. I mean I love midgets like the next guy (Trust me listen to any of the Wrestle AM shows I was on) but come on…

Jeff Hardy was drafted from Raw to SmackDown

At this moment during the draft I thought Smackdown was the worst of the three shows and Jeff going to a show I didn’t like anyway. So I was ok with this pick. Plus I thought the Hardy’s could reunite. Boy was I young and stupid at this part of the draft.
I really liked seeing the injured Randy Orton backstage watching. I wish WWE did this more with there injured stars to keep them relevant.
McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania

Randy Orton has over stayed his welcome and is now cutting a promo. I did like the fact that Randy Orton’s promo, the announcement of the Edge/Cena match and the contest together; Three things that waste time all in one shot. I love the fact a little kid picked HHH over Cena, but that’s just me player hating.
World Tag Team Champions Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes def. Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely

This match just proves that WWE is tired of hearing about a glass ceiling. It is awesome seeing so many FCW guys get a chance. Can’t wait for Afa Jr. to come up. Teddy doing commentary was not that good but he will grow into it. I just hope his mystery partner is not a let down but only time will tell.
Did you ever think the WWE would be a better place for younger guys to break out than TNA?
The major problem I had with this match is that I wish former ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero didn’t have to take the pin.
CM Punk was drafted from ECW to Raw
POI: 1
Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad… did I mention this is BAD!
It is horrible for ECW because they lose a star and by this draft pick it proves only one thing ECW is one step above FCW in making stars.
Its even worse for CM Punk, he will now be used as the new Umaga meaning he will lose to everyone before the face John Cena.
This is Bad. Nothing good can come out of this!

I loved everything about this promo and I wish WWE did more stuff like this.
Not only do I find the Y2J/HBK feud the best thing on RAW, I also give major props to WWE for making Lance Cade interesting by using real life situations in the storylines. If you know anyone in WWE please tell them more of this.

WTF was the point of Vickie coming out with dumb and dumber and saying these are the guys you are not going to wrestle. Once again WWE proving GM’s are retarded and used wrong.
Once the match started it had an old-school vs. new school feel. I would only book the Hardy Boys as a tag team from now on. I respect the fact that the Hardy’s put over the young team, something more legends have to do.
Matt Hardy was drafted from SmackDown to ECW
POI: 3
Predictable to say the least; there goes any hope of the Hardy’s tagging. If Matt Hardy isn’t a main-eventer on ECW, this will be end of him. I love the fact before commercial Matt Hardy actually looked sad to go to ECW.
McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania

Boring same old segment only Ric Flair was there. Flair makes everything better. I would book him as a GM or as a manger for Triple H.

No matter how much I bitch about WWE, when they do stuff like this or the show they put on for the troops, I always mark out and am proud to be a WWE fan.
WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James & Melina and the team of Victoria & Natalya were in a tag team match that ended as a double disqualification

WWE needs more match ups like this too come even close to what TNA puts on in the woman’s division. I also liked how the announcers had fun during the match.

I’m really shocked they put this on free TV its there best overall wrestler in the company and John Cena. The whole time this was going on I just was hoping the Golden Chosen Child of Stephanie McMahon didn’t embarrass Edge.
I was cool with the count out; it was the best thing for Edge and Superman still moves on to save the planet.

I could use words like “The Shits”, sucks, very bad booking, stupid when it comes to the draft but I will use the word “predictable” over and over again.
Batista and Cena on the same show??? Smackdown went from worst show to the best in one night.

It did what it was suppose to do. Big fan of both wrestlers; Wish MVP would get a main event spot.

When Umaga was drafted to Smackdown, Friday nights has become my favorite Night of the week. I know some piss-ant is going to say “Why do you hate on Batista and Cena but speak highly of Umaga.” As to tell me you think Umaga sucks at wrestling…
Than I will scream at you and demand you to watch a guy named Jamal in All Japan. If they booked Umaga right he would steal shows and be a main-eventer.
Stop jobbing Umaga to Cena and stop taking away every fucking amazing move he can do.
JBL defeated Kofi Kingston

Two different styles that not everyone can do; Two great entertainers in and out of the ring. I hope FCW make more stars like Kofi instead of muscle heads that can’t work.
ECW Champion Kane was drafted to Raw from ECW

This draft pick officially made ECW better and RAW the worst show on TV. It’s not all Kane’s fault but was he ever booked in a decent storyline.

Who gives a fuck? It’s rigged they gave some fans some money and it hurt ratings. Should have gave Paul Heyman all the money and let him save wrestling. How fake did it look that the person who won was at the event.
Edge won a Tri-Branded 15-Man Battle Royal

I was so happy they used real stars instead of the lower card guys (why do they need to be on TV) like the usually do. One thing I didn’t like you were pumped up to watch an old fashion battle royal and they took you right to commercial. Great move by WWE to put Edge over in this event.

Its official Smackdown is the best Wrestling show on TV. They are the winner of the draft. Just like the old school Bucs, Smackdown went from last to first. Overall the Draft was stupid but nothing was dumber than what happen next.

I’m going to steal a line from Boom Boom from The Whole Effin Show on Knockout Radio, after watching that you feel like putting WWE’s nose right next to the TV and swat them with a rolled up news paper and scream NO!
If it was me I would have ended after the really bad draft or I would have gone crazy overboard instead of just crazy and instead of re-acting his death from a year ago, I would have had him kidnapped for his millions maybe by Cryme Tyme, Paul Heyman, Vince Russo, Eric Bischoff or some grumpy underpaid wrestler.

ACW classics presents: “Unleashed” - Full Internet TV title tourney

ACW classics here at Combat-TV once again bringing major landmarks in ACW’s history to the internet. This time around we have “Unleashed” which is the first show that the ACW Internet TV/Combat Title was brought into the company. The competitors of ACW battled it out in a one night tournament to crown the first ever champion. State Line defended there tag team titles against The Cousins, as well as possibly the GREATEST 3 way match in ACW history in the main event with Sideshow battling Pretty Fly and Suicide.
