PPV buyrate news for WWE, TNA, UFC & Boxing Events

With TNA iMPACT’s television ratings at an alltime high, there are a lot of eyes on upcoming PPV buyrates.
The UFC 80: “RAPID FIRE” PPV from January 19th featuring BJ Penn vs. Joe Stevenson in the main event was the lowest UFC buyrate in more than six months.
UFC 80 drew 225,000 domestic while WWE Survivor Series 2007 drew approximately 200,000 domestic & a huge expected international buy rate.
The Roy Jones Jr. vs. Felix Trinidad fight that aired on the same night as UFC 80 did approximately 500,000 buys.
Overall combat sports continue to dominate the PPV market.
